Going forward I have these shortsums to play. Play the doubles either 9 box or 27 straight and the 1 triple associated with the shortsum for a total of 10 combos boxed or 28 combos straight. In other words this is a double or triple play. Ignore the singles.

It has many names short sum, last digit sum, cut sum.

For instance a draw 642 has a sum12. You just remove the high digit or tens digit so the short sum would be 2.

Shortsums will range from 0 thru 9 and there are exactly 100 straight combos per shortsum or 22 box combos per shortsum.

Iowa Midday hit 888 which is a shortsum of 4 and a triple. So cost would be 4 draws x $28, win $900, net profit $788. Stop playing Iowa for all draws.
