In STRAIGHT game, the majority of the patterns contain less than 20 numbers from 1,000. In BOX game, the majority of the patterns contain less than 10 numbers and as little as 1 number from 220.
The filters can ISOLATE number patterns to produce less than 10 numbers. For example: 007,025 BOX numbers as shown in this snapshot
