Bitcoins just broke $2,000 value. Analysts are predicting one Bitcoin will be worth over $1 Million in 10 years. If you invested $100 in Bitcoin in 2009-2010, That $100 would be worth $4 Million today. There is always risk so don't invest what you cannot lose (There will most likely be a pullback on the price then another pop). Plus, you can store the bitcoin in a paper wallet to keep it safe.

Another reason for the big hike in value this last month..... Japan has officially accepted bitcoin as a currency and has regulated it. The largest purchase of bitcoins now is made using Yen, US dollar is about 30-40% off the top of my head.

I dont think it will reach $1 million but maybe $20k for a bitcoin at its peak. Now its broken the $2k mark, it will go up steadily, i believe anyway.

I wouldnt invest just yet for the next big hike. I agree with David, there will be a time when prices will come back and settle. It will carry on increasing for a few weeks and then drop back a bit. However, the new resistance level will be tested again and it will shoot through, just like it did at $2k resistance level.

Happy buying. Im going to wait till it drops back and ride the rocket further. (You could buy on the forex if you wanted and short it, buy now, ride for a few weeks, sell as soon as a downturn and make a little cash)

Contrary to what many believe, don't wait. Limited supply and the value of one coin will only increase. It's better to have a full coin than only a fraction in the years to come.

terrisiri 1 BTC (bitcoin) is equivalent to $2,676, at this moment. Highly volatile cryptocurrency. There may not be a significant pullback due to the demand. Many are hoping it's a bubble and thinking they'll get in at lower values. I wouldn't count on it. BTC isn't the only cryptocurrency raging like a bull either...

Berkshire Hathaway stock is priced over $240,000 per share. Bitcoin will go above that price as main stream society starts to understand its value and begins buying. Especially when there are only 21 Million bitcoins available. The mere fact that demand will most likely pass supply, the price will skyrocket (unless the government outlaws it).

It acts like a stock but spends like cash and is being accepted by more people around the World (Stores are putting up signs that they accept bitcoin and even Uber accepts them). I would buy some now and when the pull back comes. And keep buying as you go. But not more then what you can lose.

One bitcoin was priced at 0.05 cents prior to 2010. Today, one Bitcoin is priced at over $2,300.

Down 9.2% today after touching nearly 2.8k. Some people think it will correct about 40% less. I think maybe around $1900 will settle and it will hike again. Im only speculating, do what you.think is best.

As predicted by me, went doen to $1930 and is on the rise again.

As said above, you could have traded on forex for the initial bubble to $2800 from $2200 as purchasing bit coins through a marketplace, you wouldn't have got $2200/per BTC, you would be paying around $2400 per BTC. Would have been better paying forex charge for the buy and sell.

So... it went down from $2800 to $1930 as I predicted. I think it will tumble around a bit for a week or so before increasing in price.

$1930 would have been a good entry position, in my opinion.
