Here's a quick tip:
If you are sending a request out or asking a question to some one's thread you have to click on the reply link beneath their comments and in that way a notification pops up in their email notifying them you have commented on the thread or else your requests/questions/concerns will just lay dormant till either they have returned to the thread to post again then they will see your comment. A lot of comments and/or thread seems to go nowhere in the forum when members do postings on various topics because the expectation is the person who you are interacting with will either check back in to see if anyone is following them and in most instances they seem to have forgotten and moved on so you are left with unanswered concerns or questions.
Also make sure you click on the yellow star under the following heading so you will be notified in your email when the person or anybody for that matter who is also following the thread has posted a response in the thread to your question or just choose to chime in on the conversation.
That's my little bit of nugget to keep abreast of various topics on the forum especially if you are a regular browser to see what others are talking about or posting. Don't think there is a private one to one messaging here so that's the only way I think you will receive a response short of you giving up an email address where you can be reached personally.
