"SAFE" amount of past winning numbers to remove from Pick ?

Pick 3 Question to all the PROS here :

What do you guys think is a "safe" amount of past Pick 3 winning numbers to be removed ?

Whether is box or straight it definitely helps to remove past winning numbers in order to reduce the amount of tickets purchased. Problem is that also removes winning numbers (like all other filters)

Should I remove the last 500 winners ? (aprox.8 months worth of draws in states with 2 daily draws , 5 months is states with 3 draws and 4 months in states with 4 draws )

Should I remove less winning numbers ? (100,200,etc )

Some people even advice to one year's worth of winning numbers

What do you think ? (for both : straight & boxed Pick 3)

rjarias my advice is don't remove any winning numbers, because any one of those numbers can hit again, so just choose some numbers and stick with them.

Mathematically speaking a single combo has 1 in 1000 chance or .001 of being drawn. If you use a binomial probability calculator you will find it will take 693 trials before you have 50% chance of your combo hitting. That is why the local state games payout of $500 is a rip-off. To be fair they should be paying at a minimum of $700 for a STR8 winner.

So what does all this mean? In theory you can either remove or keep the last 693 winners (could be duplicates) and it becomes an even money bet. So you can track the skips for each winner draw and decide whether to play above or below this line for the next draws. For example if 5 times in a row the winner had a skip count below 693 then you might bet for the next draw that the winner will come from the combos that have skipped more than 693 draws.

This is just another way of coming up with an even money bet such as betting on even or odd or high low.

realized is better NOT to remove past winning numbers (played a lot "on paper" and had many back to back losses)
