On a full view of NJ, you don't see any back to back MISSES only when you isolate the DOUBLES with MIDDAY draw. Isolate them with EVE DRAW and a MISS is due. This would indicate if a DOUBLE came out MIDDAY, it would win with the DOUBLES PAIRS but may not win on L1. Which means it may not be a PURPLE number but one of the BLACK numbers.
This is a good research issue to look at past similar situation with all states. For example, how many times did L1 hit a double winner when it was NOT overdue but overdue when doubles are isolated. In other words, IF L1 showed a MISS in the last draw and isolating doubles showed multiple MISSES, will that produce a win on both levels when a double hits which would mean the winner is a PURPLE number.
What happens when isolating doubles shows multiple MISSES but L1 shows NO MISSES.
